Motherhood is made up of fleeting, beautiful moments-and each season deserves to be remembered. As a South Louisiana motherhood photographer, I offer maternity, birth story, newborn, and milestone photography for families across the Acadiana area. 

While my experience with maternity, birth, and Fresh 48 photography is still growing, my commitment to this work is steady and intentional, and my focus remains the same: creating a calm, supportive environment where mothers feel safe, seen, and cared for.

These sessions are calm, natural, and centered around connection, allowing space for genuine emotion and meaningful detail. Whether you're welcoming a new baby, celebrating a growing family, or documenting a special milestone, my goal is to create authentic, timeless images that reflect the beauty of this season of motherhood. 

Birth Photography/Fresh 48

Birth photography captures the entire, fast-paced, and emotional story of your baby's arrival-from your partner supporting you to the intensity of labor and the baby's debut. It allows your loved ones to be present with you in the moment rather than looking through a lens, and gives you beautiful memories of details that are often forgotten.

As a professional birth photographer in South Louisiana, I document the raw, emotional, and intimate journey of childbirth, capturing the strength, labor, and first moments of a baby's life. I want to create a lasting, artistic narrative of your birth story—whether at home, hospital, or birth center.

Birth is sacred, powerful, and deeply personal. My role as a birth photographer isn't to direct or intrude, but to quietly witness and document your story as it unfolds. I photograph birth stories with sensitivity, discretion, and respect for your space-working around your care team and following your wishes every step of the way. 

You focus on bringing. your baby into the world. I'll take care of preserving the moments you may not even realize are happening. There's no performing, posing, pressure, or expectation to look a certain way...just me documenting your baby's birth as it truly happens. 

If birth photography isn't what you're looking for, I also offer fresh 48 sessions. These sessions document your baby within the first 48 hours after birth. With a calm, documentary approach, I capture the early moments of connection—without photographing labor or delivery. A beautiful option for families who want to remember the beginning, while keeping the birth itself private.

Maternity

Pregnancy is a season that is both tender and powerful—one that often passes much more quickly than we expect. Maternity sessions are an opportunity to slow down and honor the gift that God is creating in your body, exactly as it is.

My approach to maternity photography is relaxed, unhurried, and guided by connection rather than posing. I’ll gently lead you into natural movement and comfortable positioning, while leaving room for real emotion, quiet moments, and genuine joy to surface. You don’t need to know what to do or how to stand—I’ve got you.

Whether this is your first baby or your fourth, whether you feel glowing or simply exhausted, your story deserves to be documented with care. These images are not about perfection; they’re about remembering what it felt like to carry life and the love that already existed before your baby arrived.

Newborn

The newborn days are precious, fleeting, and often a blur of emotions. These sessions are not about perfectly posed babies or spotless homes—they’re about preserving the first days home with your child.

My newborn sessions are relaxed, baby-led, and intentionally unhurried. I work slowly and gently, following your baby’s cues and prioritizing comfort above all else. There is no rush to perform or get it “just right.” Feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and breaks are always welcomed.

I focus on the small, meaningful details you’ll want to remember—the way your baby curls into you, tiny fingers wrapped around yours, the quiet love that fills the room in these early days. Your home, your arms, your presence are enough.

Milestones

Babies change in quiet, remarkable ways during their first year—often so gradually that we don’t notice until the moment has already passed. Milestone sessions are about preserving those in-between seasons: the gummy smiles, the curious expressions, the way your baby interacts with the world right now.

Baby milestone sessions document your child as they grow—naturally and at their own pace. With a calm, baby-led approach, I capture those stages of the first year (that go by way too fast) in a way that feels authentic, unhurried, and true to who your baby is right now.
