Bayou-Side Outdoor Wedding | South Louisiana | Andrew & Beth

Photographing this sweet couple was such a blessing. What a joy to watch these two so happy to enter their next chapter in life. I don’t think I’ve ever seen either one of them so happy.

Beth and Andrew’s bayou-side wedding ceremony in Jeanerette, Louisiana was absolutely beautiful. Nestled in the backyard of Andrew’s grandmother’s home along Bayou Teche, an arch draped with chiffon cloth and wildflower arrangements was the focal point where the two entered said “I do.”

The bridal party laughed and chatted as they did hair and make-up in Grandma’s house. They completely took over every room with excitement and laughter. I absolutely loved capturing Beth’s vintage jewelry, beautiful invites, and stunning rings surrounded by wildflowers as the bride had her make-up done. Before the first look with her parents, Beth’s bridesmaids and spiritual family prayed over her. Tears were shared and mom and dad beamed with pride in their hearts for their little girl. After capturing images of the bride with her bridesmaids, it was time to capture a few of the groom and his crew. Let’s just say that experience was nothing short of a good time. After the Pastor prayed over each of them, it was go-time! Nerves were high, but God was present bringing a peace only He can bring.

South Louisiana Wedding Day Along Bayou Teche

With temperatures in the mid-70s, partly cloudy skies, and a light breeze, white chairs lined the back yard for Beth and Andrews’ closest friends and family. Wildflower arrangements in mason jars sat on beautiful wooden pieces marking the rows. As guests arrived, they were greeted with a simple welcome sign adorned with more beautifully placed wildflowers. A burlap and white cloth aisle runner lead the way to the altar.

After Beth was escorted by her Dad, the bride and groom said their vows and exchanged their rings. They then received communion together with Beth’s spiritual mom and her husband. At the end of this beautiful ceremony, filled with tears, smiles, and laughs, they were pronounced husband and wife!

Before heading to the reception in New Iberia, I captured group photos of close family and friends. Then we wrapped it up with photos of the wedding party and the newly wedded couple.

Wedding Reception Celebration in New Iberia, Louisiana

When Beth & Andrew arrived at the reception site, they were greeted with the wedding party lining the entrance. They were then introduced to all their family and friends as Mr. and Mrs. Judice. As they entered the reception, the bride and groom’s table was beautifully decorated with wildflowers, candles, and gold utensils, creating the perfect setting for the two newlyweds.

The guests were then asked to pray over Beth & Andrew as a close friend let everyone in the prayer. They then cut their spectacular chantilly wedding cake, and served pre-cut pieces of cake to their guests as their first act of service together as a married couple. After the first dances, they were very intentional in greeting each and every wedding guest as they mingled around the room hand-in-hand. It was important to them to not only honor God, but to also honor and show love to all the guests who gave up their Saturday afternoon to celebrate their forever covenant.

When you scroll through Beth & Andrew’s wedding day, you can feel the excitement and love in their images. Congratulations Beth & Andrew!
