Meet the Face Behind Styled by Ali Marie
As a South Louisiana Branding Photographer, there is something so special about getting to photograph passionate business owners who truly love what they do. That is exactly what it was like working with Ali Montgomery, the heart behind Styled by Ali Marie.
Ali is launching her hairstyling business after graduating from the Cosmetology Training Center in Lafayette, Louisiana. It’s been a dream of this bubbly young woman since she was very young to become a hairdresser. She loves helping other people feel their best, and says, “all confidence starts in the chair!” What started out as a childhood dream has finally become a reality, and she couldn’t be more excited!
When she’s not running her business, you can catch her shopping (with coffee in hand), tanning, or spending time with her little KiKi Dee (a very spoiled Morkie), which makes her brand feel even more authentic and personal. Oh, and side note…she recently got engaged!!

Easy to talk to, she makes people feel at ease very quickly. From the moment I sat in her chair, I knew I was in good hands…nothing felt awkward or disingenuous, and she was amazing at listening to what I wanted and making it happen.

South Louisiana Branding Session Experience
As a South Louisiana branding photographer, one of my favorite parts of these sessions is cheering on my clients. At the beginning of the session, Ali said she would “probably be awkward.” Insert cheering, and she handled her session like a pro…except for when she held her business cards upside down! Neither one of us caught it at first, but when we did, the laughter was uncontrollable.
We captured her images in Studio B at The Yard Studio in Lafayette, Louisiana, which perfectly complemented her brand aesthetic of crisp, clean, and fun!
It was such a joy watching her confidence grow throughout the session as we captured images that truly reflect the face and heart behind her business.
